Show ‘Em Your Stuff

Don’t wish ‘em luck, people! Luck is for gamblers. Luck is for St. Patty’s Day. Luck is for the ill-prepared. I don’t believe in luck. We can’t do luck. What we can do is prepare. What we can do is what we’ve been doing, which is exactly what the committee wants to hear. The committee wants to hear what you sound like on a daily basis. If you practiced yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, you will sound better than you used to, which is the goal. Say something like, “Show ‘em your stuff!” “Show them how you play.” That says you are already good enough. Not only is that achievable, it’s inevitable. We need to inspire confidence in ourselves, not hope for something else. Show ‘em your stuff because it’s awesome, you’re awesome.
